Tackle it Tuesday: a new kid’s travel game

So, whaaaaaaaaat’s going on around in the home of the organizing mommy this week?  I’m just being my regular, obsessive compulsive organizing extreme self this week. LOL.

But here we have an O.M. (Organizing Mommy) original.. I think.

So, what did we make?

The ultimate magnetic car-creativity  center.

First, you get a cheap magnetic tray.  I actually collect metal trays.  They are so useful and fun.  I can usually find them at my favorite place to shop: other people’s garages. (LOL)

Now, while you are shopping at other people’s garages, you’ll notice a great “free” bin.  Generally, these are the type of people who let their kids get McDonald’s happy meals with the free toys in them.  And, as it is the way of all junk, it goes into the free box.

Let your little ones swoop up a bunch of this junk.  Yeah, just let them.  The next time you go to McDonalds, you can produce a little toy if you feel guilty about not letting them have the $3.00 meal and only the $.99 burger.   Or you could skip the happy preservative spot altogether, pack a lunch,  and throw magnets on the bottom with your trusty glue gun.

Everything on the tray was either free or very cheap.  The cow was found while I was cleaning the garage!  Washed  her up, and she’s good as new.  Look for other great stuff here at 5 Minutes for Mom.
