Than turns 11!!

Eleven years and one day ago, our fourth child was born.  He was the only child actually born on his due date: Sept. 8th.  We were living in the Republic of Panama at the time.  He had an older brother, Hud, who was just 17 months older than he was.

I can honestly say that I thought he was the cutest baby I had ever seen.  I struggled with his birth, but recovered well. He was 9.5 pounds and born in a Spanish speaking hospital: Patilla in Panama City.

The next couple years were a blur.  We moved from Panama, North Dakota, Michigan, and two locations in Wisconsin before arriving in Rockford on his FOURTH birthday.  I’m thankful he survived all of that.

Now, he’s all grown up: 11!  Here he is in CT, riding his uncle’s tractor.

Playing darts at friend’s house in Ohio.

Playing in his first cello concert, Rockford College.

Hanging out with ma, living room couch.

Looking competitive in Michigan.

We all love you.  He has a blog: Than’s Thought Collection.
